All plans include a 7-day free trial, billed monthly. Cancel anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. If payment fails, there is a 14-day grace period before instances are suspended. Suspended instances are snapshotted but never deleted.

### Getting Started

Operator lets you deploy and manage OpenClaw agent instances from a single dashboard. Each instance runs on managed infrastructure — you configure the agent, we handle the rest.

### Creating an Instance

1. Sign in and navigate to the Instances page.
2. Click **New Instance** and choose a name.
3. Configure your agent — select channels (Telegram), set your system prompt, and add any API keys your agent needs.
4. Click **Deploy**. Your instance will be provisioned and go live within minutes.

### Channels

Each instance can connect to one or more messaging channels. Add your bot tokens in the instance configuration, enable the channels you want, and the agent will start listening automatically.

### Configuration & Security

All instance configuration is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. API keys and secrets are stored server-side only — they never leave the backend and are never exposed to the browser.

## Terms of Service

**Acceptance of Terms.** By accessing or using the Operator platform ("Service") provided by Operator Research, Inc. ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

**Description of Service.** Operator provides managed hosting and configuration for OpenClaw AI agent instances. We provision infrastructure, handle deployments, and manage runtime environments on your behalf.

**Accounts & Access.** You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use the Service on behalf of unauthorized third parties.

**Acceptable Use.** You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to distribute malware, to conduct spam or abuse, or to violate the rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

**Billing & Payment.** Paid plans are billed monthly. If payment fails, you will have a 14-day grace period before your instances are suspended. Suspended instances are snapshotted but not deleted. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

**Data & Privacy.** Instance configurations are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We do not access your configuration data except as required to provide the Service or comply with law. We may log metadata (timestamps, instance IDs) for operational purposes.

**Limitation of Liability.** The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operator Research, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

**Changes to Terms.** We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
